Upon retiring from the Airforce, Ernie Baldree was looking for ways to utilize his Granddaddy’s old farm in Irwinville, Georgia. He enjoys working with animals much more than gardening, so that is where he found his passion. Baldree has been a market vendor for 3 seasons at the Wiregrass Farmers Market. The Wiregrass Farmers Market at the Georgia Museum of Agriculture (GMA), remains the only local producers’ and growers’ market in Tifton, offering the freshest produce, honey, meats, and handmade artisanal goods directly from the grower/producer to your shopping basket with absolutely no resale. The market will be open every Saturday beginning through July 27 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Vendor guidelines and application are available on our site. Submission

It is almost time for opening day of your favorite local farmers market! The Wiregrass Farmers Market at the GMA remains the only local producers’ and growers’ market, offering the freshest produce, meats, and handmade artisanal goods directly from the grower/producer to your shopping basket with absolutely no resale. We will be open every Saturday beginning on April 6th, with Spring Market lasting until July 27. We will be
