Meet the Vendor

Kevin Walker and his wife, Adrian, have been market vendors since it opened. From Enigma, GA, the couple, along with their family, provide locally grown produce at the Wiregrass Farmers Market. Depending on what’s in season, you can find fresh peaches, tomatoes, “yellow-meat” watermelons, and plums, along with a variety of vegetables.

Their favorite part about being a market vendor is meeting new customers, visiting with their repeat customers and supplying everyone with quality produce. When shopping at the market, some of their favorite items to purchase are plants, succulents, and pecan oil.

You can also find Walker Farms selling produce in Tifton at their local produce stands. Follow them on Facebook @walkerfarms to stay up to date on what’s available and hours for their produce stands.

You can also follow Adrian on her adventures as a farmers wife @ladyofthefarm. You’ll be sure to find lots of pictures of chickens and great recipes!

Come out and meet the Walkers, along with the other market vendors, this Saturday from 9am-Noon under the pole barn behind the Country Store at the Georgia Museum of Agriculture on Whiddon Mill Road in Tifton! Admission is FREE!
