Meet the Vendor

Hickman Honey Company

Rooted in south Georgia, Hickman Honey Company started as a hobby and quickly grew into a passion. Based out of Sycamore, John Hickman and his fiance, Randi, have been growing their bee business from the ground up. Today, Hickman Honey Company is home to more than a hundred bee hives. Their mission is to continue producing delicious, local, raw honey, while striving to keep their honeybees healthy and thriving. In only their second season at the Wiregrass Farmers Market, John and Randi admit their favorite part about being a vendor is getting to meet our customers and the other vendors. “It’s part of the south Georgia charm that we fell in love with. Everyone is so friendly,” said Randi.

With an ongoing decline in numbers, honeybees are vital to our ecosystem and Hickman Honey Company is working hard to continue to grow and help find ways to ensure that the beloved honeybees are safe.
